My daughter is 7 months and 19 pounds. BIG GIRL! His car seat only goes up to 20 lbs (weird that its not 22, I know) so I know im going to have to buy him a car seat for again soon. Shes my first ... how long the car seat last second? When your baby will outgrow their car seat Baby? Also, what type of car seat comes next .... can tell you've never done this before?
Our son is almost 8 months and we just got her car seat nine a week ago. We got him a Britax Marathon. It is a convertible car seat. He can still use the rear facing up to 35 pounds (which is great because they recommend to stay rear-facing until 20 pounds or 1 year) & Forward facing up 65 lbs. He's loving it so far, and seems much more comfortable. It is an expensive seat, but after much research is the best thing there. Moreover, they have a seat replacement policy if involved in an accident.
