Double Swivel

Ok, so I play the drums, obviously, and I'm in a band that plays mostly speed metal. Well, my speed is stuff, and I practically rape kit my hands, but I can not for the bass very quickly. Now I know that several techniques notably George Kollias' swing technique, but I do not seem to feel the rhythm in my feet as I do in my hands, as cheesy as this may seem. I can go so fast with my hands because I can feel it, I can anticipate the distribution of the second tempo changes I have to do to keep a steady rhythm. With my feet, however, I do not feel it. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has had this problem as well, and how they would deal with them, and even if you do not have this problem, if you have any suggestions I would really appreciate it.
As stupid as it sounds, try changing your position stool closer or farther, higher or lower. You may find that you stretch the legs a little without it see. Try. Good luck.
