Infant Car Frame

I want to venture out with him today for about an hour but dont really want to carry him in the infant car seat. FYI...I have a stroller frame for his infant car seat but waiting for the company to send me a missing part. I hate having to sit aroound the house waiting for it to come.
My son was 6 lbs & 8ozs at 1 week old so I am guessing he is about 8 lbs or very close to it now since he is filling out and has been eating well. My carrier is an Evenflo and it is can be used for babies that are at least 8 lbs. It is a front carrier that says to put babies in it facing you until they have good neck control.
What kind of carrier do you have? Slings and wraps are fine even for premies, and carriers like the Baby Bjorn are based on size. I believe the Baby Bjorn can be used on a baby 8 lbs and up, but you need to check whatever instructions that came with your carrier to be sure. If you can't find the instructions, you should be able to find something online.
