Best jog stoller for run/walk on dirt and sidewalks?

My daughter is 1 year old and I want to take up running. I have been looking into a jog stroller and I am overwhelmed at all the choices. I was looking at an InStep jog stroller with a fixed front wheel and rear suspension system. Where I live at doesn't have alot of sidewalks. So I will be initially walking then running on a combination of surfaces (gravel, dirt, road) flat surfaces. I want a jog stroller that won't fall over, easy to lift and lower over curbs and will allow my daughter to sit up.

Any suggestions on what to look for in a jog stroller or any brand to look for?

First, congratulations on starting a running program! That's terrific. I take my daughter jogging with me each morning. She's 17 months. We use the Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller and I enjoy it a lot. My husband and I checked it out at the store first, before my daughter was even born, and decided that it would work for us particularly because I do jog off road and wanted something that could take a beating.

As you said, it can be overwhelming. I felt the same way. If you have a Babies-r-Us or some store in your area that you can personally check out strollers that would be a good start. Once you find something that works for you, shop online for bargains and read readers reviews so that you make the best purchase the first time. Good luck.
