and PPL think he is a spoiled child. Well my kid isn't a kid and is well behaved. Why is it people think THT because you have the money your child is a rich kid ... learn know the kid people are important! When I was a child, was dirt poor and now I have the lifestyle where I can provide everything for my toddler son * * and is said to be spoiled (I do not think it is, I say he is blessed) Rich or poor, just cannot win!
There is nothing wrong with spoiling your child. You're the parent you know your child better than anyone. For me, however, and it my opinion. I want to show my children love in other ways. Most people associate the love of giving material goods. I give my kids books, toys and clothes, but I am aware of doing so only when they are worthy. Otherwise, they get my time, attention and outings. I show them I love in different ways. It is important to me because the material does not always equal love things. In addition, they must earn what they get Otherwise they may grow up thinking the world owes them something. Nobody owes them anything and they will lead nowhere unless they work hard, right? Spoiling a child can happen in different ways. Not only material goods. A child may be a kid because they did not receive positive attention to home and goes everywhere misbehaves because it is the only way they get attention. The best way to avoid this is through a lot of positive reinforcement. Most people do not tend to think that children whose parents happen to have money are spoiled. It may be because they believe children do not learn to be grateful for what they have. Maybe because they think Children do not learn to empathize with children who have not provided. As a teacher, I saw many "rich" Kids unnecessarily cruel to other children. I'd say go ahead, give your child what they want and need if you can. This is our dream as parents, is not? However, it may be a good idea to also volunteer at a homeless shelter, or teach him to donate clothes and toys. Teach them to our social responsibilities and will be even better than they are today.
