Star Baby
Posted on Thursday, February 4th, 2010 at 10:01 amIs it OK to feed FALLEN hibiscus flower as occasional treats my turtle Star Baby?
Its about 8 months. Eats edge of bottle pumpkin, lady's finger, hibiscus, cucumber, coriander.lettuce.tomato. Thats what we get in India, which is its natural habitat. The names of donated food on the Internet are not of any help understanding here. Please me.Am I eat properly?
Hmmm fallen ... I would be worried then molds / yeasts, parasites, etc. once it touches the ground. I use fresh petals / flowers, but yes, it's good to feed the petals, if such is the question. Hibiscus is good on your salad too expensive. If you google for flowers for safe, I recommend starting in the "organic". It is more info. you want, but you can hunt in the category. You can actually find a listing for the water plants of the basin are also good and many herbs are listed. You seem to be a good teacher. Keep diet varied and fresh. Enjoy your pet.
