Ultralight Stroller

Can you sit and take stroller on the plane as carry-on?

Stroller Type: Joovy Caboose Ultralight Airline: American Airlines, I have a year 3 years and 6 months old without a paid up for 3 year old child on her lap.

I am a former flight attendant and I fly a lot with my three children. Honestly, I've never seen a stroller that was not allowed to be gate-checked. This is not a very large (and certainly much smaller than I saw at work). Usually, they require only that either fold-able. What is its weight? Stripped of any accessory, including cup holders, umbrellas and toys. I doubt they weigh, but you do not need to steal this stuff anyway. Here is the AA on onlookers. A small problem with them on my business, strollers were not allowed in general bins. I urge you to do not do that. It might land on someone's head (which happened, not on my flight, but with my airline and permanent damage). Parents take care but it would be another person, their gear, which pulls down probably. In fact, bringing a stroller on board at all is not good idea. Gate-check and make sure to ask which door to exit, if a larger aircraft. This way, you can take it as soon as you exit at your destination. Gates open road often and it could damage your stroller. You can also use a bag, not even a purpose designed one, but a gym bag or even laundry bag will keep your stroller clean and dry.
